The Norwegian low fare airline
Norwegian Air Shuttle AS is a low fares airline, which is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and employs approximately 620 people. In September 2002, Norwegian has introduced a route of low domestic prices between Oslo and Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim and Tromso, using a fleet of Boeing 737. On 5 April 2003, our company has launched cheap flights to destinations in Spain and Portugal. During the summer of 2003, our network has expanded with flights to Alta, Harstad / Narvik, Bodø and Aalesund and international flights to London and Stockholm. Today, Norwegian serves a total of 87 destinations - 10 domestic and 77 international flights. Norwegian has 22 Boeing 737-300 aircraft equipped with 148 seats each.
Since 1993, our company has started to serve destinations in western Norway to the company Braathens with the aircraft Fokker 50. This activity has ceased on 31 March 2003.
In 2006, Norwegian Air Shuttle AS transported 5.1 million passengers. The head office of our company is located at Fornebu on the outskirts of Oslo.

International destinations: Alicante, Belgrade, Berlin, Bordeaux, Budapest, Burgas, Copenhagen, Dubrovnik, Düsseldorf, Edinburgh, Faro, Gdansk, Geneva, Hamburg, Heraklion, Ibiza, Kos, Krakow, London, Madrid.
