TAP PORTUGAL flights Bamako

TAP PORTUGAL strengthens its position in Africa by serving
Bamako, Mali with three weekly flights via Lisbon. TAP PORTUGAL starts regular flights to Bamako from June 5 with three weekly frequencies. Flights will be operated by Airbus A320 on Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays to go. In return, the flights will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Bamako is one of three new destinations this year opened on the mainland African, TAP PORTUGAL amplifying reaffirms its position of prominence in Africa due to continued growth in recent years. This growth contributes to strengthening the competitiveness of the hub of Lisbon and feeds roads Europe. Only last year, the company increased its operations to Africa 12%, with 602 000 passengers, hoping to achieve by 2011, 13% growth.

Mali is a very diverse country able to satisfy the most varied motives between other roads to influential Sahara. With a stable economy backed mainly by agriculture and gold (the third largest African producer after South Africa and
Ghana), Mali is a francophone country with a potential of European traffic in the protection of France, with the possibility of developing tourism in the desert
Sahara and the legendary city of Timbuktu.
