Steps taken by ESTA to fly to the States

Implemented by ESTA, there are now new steps that have to be taken to fly to the States. The new steps taken require an online registration in the Visa Waiver by ESTA to fly to the States. Since 12th January 2010, the Visa Waiver Program is now compulsory. Accompanied or not children will have to have their own ESTA verification. Passengers will have to fill in the I-9W form on the website of ESTA at least 72 hours before departure. Travelers holding an approved authorization will receive an authorization number that will be asked to register at the airport in France.
