Shanghai Airlines to leave Star Alliance

Shanghai Airlines will leave Star Alliance as from 31st October 2010. Star Alliance has agreed that Shanghai Airlines will leave the alliance by the end of October. Shanghai Airlines will still provide customers with the benefits of Star Alliance so that they can earn and redeem miles, enjoy Star Alliance fare products and benefit from Gold and Silver membership through 31st October 2010.
