IATA traffic figures

International Air Transport Association IATA has published its January 2010 traffic figures and shows an increase in the January traffic of 8.2% compared to last year. On the contrary of increase in traffic, IATA forecast a decrease in the airlines profit as the price of oil is rising, For instance a barrel of oil will be estimated to $96 compared to $84 in December 2010 but is rather satisfied with January traffic figures.
