Finnair offers its passengers on its first flight biofuel. The first biofuel flight AY846 is operated using an Airbus A319 from Amsterdam. The flight took off yesterday AY846 Amsterdam at 18:50 and landed in Helsinki to 22:10. Finnair is the biofuel produced from recycled vegetable oil provided by SkyNRG with 50% regular aviation fuel. Please note that Finnair aims to operate three flights from Amsterdam to Helsinki using a biofuel blend of 50% in both engines.
