Emirates has been declared the world’s largest airline operator of Boeing 777 aircraft since 30th July 2009 with the arrival of its 78th Boeing 777 aircraft. Emirates is the only airline to operate all types of Boeing 777, that is: Boeing 777-200s, Boeing 777-200ERs, Boeing 777-200LRs, Boeing 777-300s, Boeing 777-300ERs and freighters. Emirates also newly finished an upgrading programme for its existing 777 fleet.
