Delta Airlines and Virgin Blue Airlines planned a Joint Venture since 8th July 2009 to offer more flights and destinations in United States, Australia and South Pacific. The Joint Venture will allow Delta Airlines and the Virgin Blue Airlines by collaborating on route and product planning, code sharing on their respective networks and extending frequent flyer program benefits and lounge access to customers of both Delta Airlines and Virgin Blue Airlines.
