Cathay Pacific modifications in its shareholding

The flag carrier of Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific and the three other airlines Air China, CITIC Pacific and Swiire Pacific announced on 17th August 2009 some modifications made in the shareholding of Cathay Pacific. In other words 12.5% shareholding of CITIC Pacific will be sold in Cathay Pacific to Air China. Futher more 2% shareholding in Cathay Pacific will be sold to Swire Pacific. Hence both Air China and Swire Pacific shareholdings in Cathay Pacific will increase.
