American Airlines releases its figures of August 2009

The United States based airline American Airlines releases its figures for the month of August 2009. American Airlines reported a load factor of 84.7% with an increase of 1.2 points compared to the same period last year. American Airlines also publishes its figures for the overall traffic is down 8.1% and the overall capacity of 9.4% compared to August 2008. International traffic decreased by 6.4% over the same period last year. In addition in August 2009, American Airlines carried 7.7 million passengers.
