Alaska Airlines to provide in-flight wifi

On 24th February 2010, Alaska Airlines has declared that it will provide its passengers with in-flight wifi. In-flight wifi will be provided on planes of Alaska Airlines by Aircell's Gogo® Inflight Internet. Therefore, passengers will now be able to browse through pages of the internet as in-flight wifi will be provided to them by Alaska Airlines. First, Alaska Airlines and Aircell will install in-flight wifi onboard a Boeing 737-800 to see if all runs smoothly. For the service of in-flight wifi, Alaska Airlines proposes a minimum charge of $4.95.
