Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air have just published their first environment report. Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air environment report 2009 shows the efforts in fuel saving, greenhouse gas emission and in flight recycling program. Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air environment report 2009 shows a decrease in their carbon dioxide emission per revenue passenger mile by 23%. According to the environment report 2009 Horizon Air has recycled 69% of its in flight waste in 2009, placing it on top in the airline industry for recycling and composting.
