Air France lighter and comfortable seats

The flag carrier of France, Air France will launch new seats that will be not only more comfortable but also lighter. These lighter and comfortable seats will be launched by Air France on 30th January 2010 on its short haul routes. Air France lighter and comfortable seats will be introduced on the airline’s domestic fleet of Airbus A319, A320 and A321. The lighter seats of Air France will enable to make a save of 5,200 tons of emissions of CO2 yearly and also 1,700 tons of fuel per annum. With the additional comfort and legroom offered to travelers, Air France will be able to add a row of 6 seats on the A320 and A321 thus increasing its seat capacity from 178 seats to 212 seats.
