Air France KLM traffic figures published in May 2011

The airline group Air France KLM has released its traffic figures for May 2011. According to figures from its traffic, Air France-KLM suffered an increase in traffic of 4.9% with capacity up 5.9% and a decline of 0.7 points in load factor, which stood at 79.8%. Capacity on the American network has been an increase of 8.2% with a load factor of 86.1%. Traffic on the Asian network has been an increase of 2.7% with capacity up 5.8% with occupancy down 2.4 points to 81.2%. The Africa and Middle East has suffered a decline of 5.3% with load factor down 2.1 points to 71.4%. Network traffic Caribbean and Indian Ocean is up 6.7% with capacity up 6.9%. The load factor remained stable at 78.5% (-0.1 points). As for the European network has also been an increase of 8.2% while capacity increased 7.6%. The load factor gained 0.4 points to 74.6%. Please note that Air France KLM carried 6.58 million passengers in May 2011.
