The national French carrier, Air France double decker plane A380 will fly to Johannesburg from Paris as from 17th February 2010. With the 2010 World Cup to kick off in a few months, Air France is the first airline to operate flights to Johannesburg onboard the super jumbo plane Airbus A380. Air France A380 will take off from Paris at 23.20 and will touch the soil at Johannesburg at 10.55 the next morning. The flight from Paris to Johannesburg is of duration of 10 hours and 35 minutes. The Airbus A380 of Air France is in a three class configuration, La Première, Affaires and Voyageur which can carry 538 passengers. The maiden flight of Air France A380 was from Paris to New York on 20th November 2009.
