Air Canada and United Airlines are planning to have a transborder joint venture agreement. With the joint venture agreement Air Canada, United Airlines and Continental Airlines will be able to operate more transborder flights between the United States and Canada. The transborder joint venture agreement between Air Canada and United Airlines will take effect in early 2011.
