About Cimber Air


Cimber Air is an airline 100% Dane founded in 1950 and based in Sonderborg. Since 58 years, we operate regular flights within Denmark and to Europe on 19 routes and we are working in collaboration with major commercial airlines, SAS and Lufthansa.

The Cimber Air fleet consists of modern aircraft and comfortable turboprop type CRJ 200 LR and ATR 42 / 72 and the technical maintenance is carried out at Sonderborg, Billund and Copenhagen from our own teams.

With the technical support of Cimber Aviation Group we provide our passengers with a great regularity and punctuality of our average of 122 flights daily.

Our 620 employees on the ground and in flight in the cockpit and cabin are fully trained as to the safety of their passengers and for greater comfort.

In 2007 Cimber Air carried nearly 1,000,000 passengers with 26,580 flights.
