Blue Air is the first airline to Romania flights operating system with low-cost capital 100% Private Romanian.
The company began its activity on the International Airport Aurel Vlaicu (located 10 km from the city center), 13th December 2004. The company Blue Air is to transform the air transport service accessible to all categories of passengers.
Blue Air Transport Airline is allowed to conduct domestic flights and international passengers, type of charter flights on request, international passenger flights type of charter and cargo transport.
The Blue Air fleet currently consists of five modern aircraft, two Boeing 737 and 300 series with a capacity of 144 seats (registered as YR-BAA) and 136 seats respectively (registered as YR-BAC), a Boeing 737-500, with a capacity of 123 seats and two Boeing 737-400 with a capacity of 167 and, respectively, 162 seats.
The model 737 is the aircraft which has the highest number of sales in the history of airline passengers, is made more than 4,000 of the aircraft. B737 has been a constant evolution during the past 4 decades, as projected in efficient, meaning lower operating costs and maintenance and also an excellent level of passenger safety.
In 2008 it intends to reach a fleet of 8 aircraft.
The purpose of our efforts is to ensure the safety of air travel for our customers in the domestic and international regulations. In seeking to provide air transportation of passengers, Blue Air has a complex certification in accordance with European legislation JAR - OPS 1 and JAR - 145. The trial proceeded under the coordination of the Civil Aviation Authority showed that Romanian Air Blue is qualified to perform air transportation of passengers the highest standards of safety
